Ralph W. Faught, 82, Robinson, Illinois passed away at 1:56 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011, at the Crawford County Convalescent Center, Robinson, Illinois. Born in Hunt City Township, Jasper County, Illinois on August 11, 1928, he was the son of Ira Clone Faught and Launa (Race) Faught. He served with the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1986 as a truck driver for Refiner’s Transport, Inc. Robinson, Illinois. He was a member of the Robinson V.F.W. Post #4549 and the Model T Ford Club of America. He enjoyed restoring his Model T; building guns and working in the yard.
On September 4, 1952, he married Rosalie Clement, who preceded him in death June 1992. Also preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Byrl & Robert & three grandchildren.
Ralph is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bill & Tina Faught and Jim Faught; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie Jo & John Ferrer and Mary & Robbie Miller; seven grandchildren, Christopher Ferrer, Darby Ferrer, Mark Leshley, Grace Heller, Jackie Dunlap, William Faught and Harley Faught; eight great-grandchildren, Jessi Ferrer, Lyrik Ferrer, Winter Ferrer, Aiden Ferrer, Lily Ferrer, Cameron Ferrer, Daniel Heller, Zoe Utley and one great-grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
Bill Ikemire will be officiating the funeral service with burial in Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois.
